Tony Buzan Licensed Instructor certifications are for those people wishing to learn and deploy the core Mental Literacy techniques of Mind Mapping, Memory Speed/Intelligent Reading, and Applied Creativity in a trainer's / coaching capacity. 

A Tony Buzan Licensed Instructor is a person who has completed the Tony Buzan Licensed Instructor certification and has proven a relevant degree of competence. 

Tony Buzan Licensed Instructors run their own businesses but are supported and mentored by Tony Buzan International.

Certification as a Tony Buzan Licensed Instructor allows you to teach/coach the Tony Buzan core techniques for financial remuneration and to train and certify Practitioners in the core techniques that you are qualified in.

All certified Tony Buzan Licensed Instructors that we recognise as competent to represent the organisation are listed on our "Trainers” pages under their relevant region. All of our Tony Buzan Licensed Instructors have access to a profile page on our website and to our membership site where additional materials and resources are provided.

These courses are led by trained Tony Buzan Grand Master Instructors who have many years of experience in both training these techniques and who are Global Experts and/or World Champions in their relevant discipline.

A Tony Buzan Master Licensed Instructor is a TBLI who is qualified in three core principles – so a selection of Mind Mapping, Memory, Speed/Intelligent Reading, and Applied Creativity or any other “specialised” TBLI course offered by one of our Grand Master Instructors around the world.

Tony Buzan Master Licensed Instructors are permitted to create and certify Practitioners and Senior Practitioners in the three core disciplines that they are certified. A Senior Practitioner is someone who has completed three training courses such as Mind Mapping, Memory, and Speed/Intelligent Reading.

Some Tony Buzan Master Licensed Instructors may be invited by Tony Buzan International Limited to provide “Train the Trainer” services. They may then be able to market and provide training to future Tony Buzan Licensed Instructors.

Please note however that this “Train the Trainer” designation is not an automatic appointment and instead the Master TBLI must demonstrate not only superior competency in the core techniques but proficiency in running and marketing their own business in order to be considered for this role working alongside The Tony Buzan International HQ Operations.

With Tony Buzan himself, 
this is the core team that creates and refines the programmes for The Tony Buzan Company.

These posts are by appointment only and to be considered you should demonstrate that you have operated at the very top of your specialty for a number of years. 

Our current Grand Master Trainers are multiple World Champions or Senior Academics in their field.

Alongside a select few Tony Buzan Master Licensed Instructors these are the ONLY professionals permitted to offer Tony Buzan Licensed Instructor Training and full certification. 

The Grand Master title is based on expertise and performance.

We are always looking to appoint Grand Master Trainers in the future and they are promoted from within the ranks of our Tony Buzan Master Instructors.

Completion of any of the Practitioner Level does not certify you to teach or represent yourself as a Tony Buzan Instructor in any form.

These courses are led by trained Tony Buzan Licensed Instructors who have completed the relevant course and have valid certification and are therefore recognised by The Tony Buzan Company Limited.

All certified Tony Buzan Licensed Instructors that we recognise as competent to represent the organisation are listed on our “our Trainers” pages under their relevant region. Should you be offered training by someone not listed on our registry then we cannot be held responsible for the quality or competency of the training offered.
